let's see, what else is goin on. friday night is the taking back sunday/angels & airwaves concert downtown, which will be HELLA BADASS. saturday is my 18th birthday, which is kinda scary. (my number is 847.608.8479, call me ;) hehe) and summer is going great. i guess thats all i have to say, gonna watch a movie (or four, kinda a chill day, weather outside is a little crappy)

so i haven't updated in awhile, and SOMEONE keeps getting on my case about it (:P) so here i go. a couple of you probably got directed here from my myspace bulletin. it's true, i gave it up for lent. hahahaha word. see the reason i havent updated in a while is that theres not much new going on. there's still this girl i can't stop thinking about, there's still this massive architecture project i'm working on, and i still have a job and contribute to society.
speaking of that project, i need to finish it, so i guess i should get going on that. perhaps i'll update more tonight when i either finish or take another break.

so i was on call tonight till 3am. thank GOD payne is the best manager ever, and said i didn't have to wokr tonight. and holly was gonna make me work, too. excellent. work tomorrow, at 12-6pm, not too bad. so i've been watching movies, starting with this gem:

hmm... second semester of senior year is here. i like my classes, i like my grades, i like my school. s'right westview, fuck you. but what else is new. oh yes, i succeeded in my goal of getting a 4.0. it's actually like a 4.3 with my ap and honors classes, haha take that bitches! *throws confetti*
right now i'm working on mastering this damn 5x5 rubik's cube. i'll have it by next month, for serious.
not much else to report, finished ap stats homework during studyhall today, yay. uh gonna go make a hotdog and solve this rubik's cube. peace. |

just saw hostel... and to be honest, it wasnt that great. the first half was all about the sex, drugs, and clubbing these three guys do. wtf i thought this was a horror movie, get to the good shit. oh and by the way, lots of boobs in this movie. anyway, the second half was the actual horror part. well, not so much "horror", as it was "incredibly fucking gory". theres this one part where literally everyone in the theater turned away. and it wasnt even the drill bit part. fucking sick. and for those of you wondering how much quentin tarantino did in this movie... not alot. tarantino's movies have alot more style, hostel was just kinda... blah. it just couldnt last on the shock-value alone. lameness aside, it's worth however much a ticket costs (tee hee working at the theater is great, all my tickets for myself, family and friends are free :P) just to see the torture scenes. some seriously fucked up shit. how this film got an r rating and not an nc-17 is beyond me.
but uh its saturday, and finals start this wednesday. lame.

PORTLAND BABY. unfortunately, i'm still on chicago time, and it's almost noon there, so i'm wide awake at 9:30 :P
went and saw fun with dick and jane yesterday with brady, pretty funny. it's good to see jim carrey in a roll where he's actually funny. and tea leoni is hot. :P
today i think brady and i are going bowling over at sunset lanes, come join us. we'll be there sometime around 1ish, maybe.

i'm AMC's bitch, i swear. i'm working till 1:30 am again, and my grandparents are here. and AMC called yesterday, wanting to know if i could work on christmas day from noon to 6pm (main concessions... my favorite, but still). of course, me being the pushover that i am, told them yes. but this is still going to kick ass. tomorrow is christmas eve, sunday is christmas, and i leave monday morning for portland. palabra a tu madre. |

this weekend sucks. i worked from 7pm to 1:30am again yesterday/this morning, i work from 6pm to 11pm tonight, and 9:30am to 3:30pm tomorrow. in between, i have an architecture project to finish, a research presentation to finish, a biology project to finish, and a math test to study for. daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

well not much to update on tonight, standard week. work tomorrow from 5 till 12 or 1, not sure what i'm doing before that. still havent gone to pick up my check yet, i'm such a lazy bitch (haha) but i figured screw it i'll be there tomorrow for work anyway, i'll just pick it up then
looking at my calendar it seems it's december 2nd already. holy shit. anyone else notice senior year is going by kinda fast? it's been 4 months since i left portland, yet it seems like it was just yesterday. speaking of portland, the 26th is coming up pretty fast (holler.) i'm so excited to see everyone again, it's going to be sweet.
so uh... what else. oh yeah i've turned into a myspace whore like overnight. i promise it's just a temporary thing, once the novelty effect wears off, i'll be done with it. i seem to be conforming with things lately... OH NOES
scott stapp's new album is out btw, he was the frontman for (now defunct) creed. it's pretty good, give it a listen if you get the chance
*edit* oh my god. i'm learning how to speed cube (basically doing a rubiks cube in under 20 seconds) and i was cubing so hard and fast the entire thing fell apart right in my hands. coolest thing ever. |
